Albert Joseph Lieb, 73, of Horton, Kansas passed away October 14, 2011 at his home on the Kickapoo Reservation. He was born on September 29, 1938 in Pawnee, Oklahoma the son of Henry and Josephine No Ear Lieb Sr. Albert was an English Teacher for many years in several different school districts he most recently taught at the Kickapoo Nation School. He was a member of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska. On June 16, 1959 he married Bertha Samqua in Topeka, Kansas. She survives of the home. Other survivors include two daughters, Twilla Lieb of Horton, Kansas and Joanna Flanders of Lawrence, Kansas; a son, Ryland Lieb of Norman, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter; four brothers, Henry J. Lieb Jr. of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Curtis Lieb of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Andrew Lieb of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Craig Lieb of Perry, Oklahoma; a sister, Rose Marie Cuellar of Phoenix, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gilbert Lieb. Kennekuk Church services will be at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, October 17, 2011 at the Kickapoo Community Building on the Kickapoo Reservation.
