Allen Duane Hunt, 64, of Overland Park, Kansas formerly of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the Indian Creek Nursing Center in Overland Park, Kansas. He was born on February 3, 1947 in Horton, Kansas the son of Roland and Jane Vaughn Hunt. Allen worked for the Hiawatha egg plant and Topeka Firestone before becoming disabled due to an automobile accident. Allen served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 154 in White Cloud, Kansas. Survivors include a sister, Marilyn and husband Pete Tilton of White Cloud, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Amy Jane Hunt and two brothers, Ronald Eugene Hunt and Billy Joe Tritsch.
