Bob Stanley Chappell, 78 of Hiawatha, Kansas, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024, at his home. He was born on November 8, 1945, in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Clyde and Opal Rush Chappell. Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for a printing manufacturing company in Kansas City until his retirement. He married Betty Warren on November 10,1983 in Kansas City, Missouri. She preceded him in death. Survivors include two daughters, Wendy Chappell of Hiawatha, Kansas and Bobbie Jean Wilson of Glasgow, Kentucky; a brother, Carl Chappell of Kansas City, Missouri; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, David Chappell and a granddaughter, Brittany Zeornes. Private family services will be held.
