Obituary

Bonnie Sue Best, 69, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at her home. She was born on August 16, 1944 in St. Joseph, Missouri the daughter of Clyde and Viola Grooms Morin. Bonnie was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing, cooking and caring for her family. On October 23, 1964 she married Ernest Best Sr. in St. Joseph, Missouri. They later were divorced. Survivors include two daughters, Bonita (Ralph) Ingram of Horton, Kansas and Patty (James) Thompson of Easton, Missouri; two sons, Ernest Best of Clark Mills, New York and Everett Best of Horton Kansas; one sister, Gloria Marsh of St. Joseph, Missouri; two brothers, Wilburn Moran of Savannah, Missouri and Glenn Moran of Greenville, South Carolina; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Lois Gay and Pat Ramsey; two brothers, Earl Moran and Eric Moran. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Evangelistic Temple in St. Joseph, Missouri.
