Obituary

Chris Lavon Pribble Perry, 20, of Horton, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident on the Kickapoo Reservation. He was born on October 22, 1991 in Dallas, Texas the son of Bryan Perry and Wendy Pribble. Chris was a student at the Highland Community College. He graduated from Kickapoo Nation School as the Class of 2011 Valedictorian. Chris enjoyed playing football, basketball, drawing and writing. He was a descendant member of the Kickapoo Tribe. He is survived by his grandparents that raised him, Larry and Bobby Pribble of Horton, Kansas; mother, Wendy Pribble of Kilgore, Texas; father, Bryan Perry of Commerce, Texas; four brothers, Tristin Perry and Christian Perry both of Commerce, Texas, Thomas Pahmahmie and Brandon Negonsott both of Horton, Kansas; two sisters, Chasity Kirkpatrick of Kilgore, Texas and Molly Kirkpatrick of Henderson, Texas; uncle, Corey Pribble of St. Joseph, Missouri and great aunt, Valerie Maston of Horton, Kansas. The family will greet friends Friday evening from 7 to 8:30 P.M. at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 14, 2011 at the Kickapoo Community Building with burial at the Kennekuk Cemetery on the Kickapoo Reservation.
