Daniel Richard Fuqua, 64, of St. Joseph passed away on May 2, 2024 surrounded by his family.

Daniel, fondly known as Danny or Dan, was born to Dale and Amelia (Kawkeka) Fuqua on July 16, 1959 in Atchison Kansas.

He was a WWE watching, hard working man who loved to play basketball, swim, play pool, listen to music, and laugh.

Aside from his active side, he also enjoyed relaxing in his favorite chair with his black coffee, reading the newspaper, and working on crosswords and word searches.

Daniel is survived by his 3 children, Jeanette, Danel and Karonda; 5 sisters and 1 brother, Mary, Lisa, Sandy, Teresa, Carol, and Roger, as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Amelia Fuqua.

Celebration of life and farewell service will be held.
