David Allan Chappell, 59, of Hiawatha, Kansas, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2023 at the Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. He was born on April 14, 1964 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Bob and Connie Lassiter Chappell. He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie and second mother, Betty, brother, Martin and niece, Brittany Nicole. He leaves behind his father, Bob; second father, Mike; sisters, Wendy and Bobbie Jean; brother, Billy Ray; daughters, Nicki Jo, Jessica and Kaitlyn; grandchildren, Kylie and Beau; many aunts, uncles, nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews and cousins. Inurnment will take place at the Miller Cemetery at a later date.
