Obituary

Dionna Y. Craine "Nespat", 39, of Horton died Friday evening, March 11, 2011 at the Horton Community Hospital.

She was born April 16, 1971 to Cleary and Deanna Mzhickteno Craine. Her parents preceded her in death.

She graduated from Horton High School with the class of 1990. Dionna went to Brown Mackey College and graduated with a degree in Data Processing. She worked as a Nurse Aide and as a Poker dealer in various casinos.

Dionna was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribe, the Native American Church Delia Chapter of Kansas, and the America Cancer Society.

She is survived by two daughters; Chancy and Chelsea Masqua of Powhattan, KS, two sons; Edwin and Clyde Craine of Hiawatha, KS three brothers; Raymond Greene and Edwin (Roberta) Green of Powhattan, KS, and Cleary (Kari) Craine of Falls City, NE, two sisters; Mary (Joseph) Jessepe of Mayetta, KS, Ramona Ramirez and a sister in law; Ruthie Greene of Horton, KS, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers; Alan "Rocky" Greene and John Collins Greene and a sister; Thelma Marie Greene.

Friends may call the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary after 10 a.m. Monday where the family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. that evening.

Family and Friends will gather at the home of Mary and Joe Jessepe, 15975 L4 Lane, Mayetta, KS 66509 after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday for Native American Church Services. Burial will follow Wednesday afternoon at the Old Dancing Grounds on the Prairie Band Potawatomi Reservation.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be sent in care of the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary, 909 Central, Horton, KS 66439.
