Kay Lavaun Curtis, 58, of Arizona City passed away on June 2, 2010, of leukemia at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Curtis was born on July 6, 1951 in Beatrice, Nebraska the daughter of Raymond and Marilyn Hagemeier. She was a receiving manager at the Walmart Distribution Center in Casa Grande. She enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren, and loved country music, golf and being outdoors, whether by the pool or at a park. She advocated for the American Cancer Society as an active leader in the Relay for Life walk. Survivors include two sons, Jason & wife Misty Teel of Horton, Kansas and Toby Teel of Hiawatha, Kansas; her mother, Marilyn Hagemeier of Omaha, Nebraska; brother, Alan Hagemeier of Arcadia, Nebraska; sister, Jean Barker of Omaha, Nebraska and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Springhill Cemetery in Whiting, Kansas.
