Kevin Brent Stanley, 29, of Mayetta, Kansas, passed away on January 10, 2013 at his home. He was born on December 6, 1983 in Horton, Kansas the son of James and Brenda Winsea Stanley. Kevin was a member of the Kickapoo Tribe. He was working for the Hoyt Pallet Company. Survivors include, two sons, Noah and Brent Stanley both of Hiawatha, Kansas; daughter, Chloe Stanley of Hiawatha, Kansas; two sisters, Anitra Winsea of Bradenton, Florida and Lisa Stanley of Topeka, Kansas;two brothers, Bradley Stanley of Overland Park, Kansas and Stanley Lundin of Superior, Nebraska; father, James Stanley of Overland Park, Kansas; foster parents, Patty and John Lundin of Mayetta, Kansas; fifteen nieces and nephews and his old pal and faithful companion his dog smokey. He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, January 14, 2013 at the Kickapoo Community Building on the Kickapoo Reservation with dinner to follow.
