Larry Arthur Tollefson, 71, of Horton, Kansas, passed away at his home on March 22, 2010. He was born on February 1, 1939 in Horton, Kansas the son of Dwight and Blanche Steward Tollefson. Larry served in the U.S. Army National Guard after High School. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Horton. He drove a truck for the Whiting Cheese factory for a number of years and then helped his father and mother on the family farm. After Larry moved to town he drove for several car dealerships in the area and took care of his mother. Survivors include two sisters, Rea & husband Robert Parker of Eldorado, Kansas, Cindy & husband Michael Proveaux of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania and nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, March 29, 2010 at the Horton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Tollefson memorial and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
