Lindsay Gail Harris, 17, passed away peacefully at her Horton home on February 17, 2010. She was born to John & Brenda Guffy Harris on August 19, 1992 in Horton, Kansas. Lindsay had a challenging life after a major stroke at 3 weeks of age. Lindsay's needs taught her family love and patience. She is survived by her mother and father, John & Brenda Harris, her brother, Mark, sister, Kelsey and nieces Cadence and Parker all of the home. She is also survived by her sister, Crystal & Zack Koenig of Topeka, sister, Whitney & Chance Link of Horton, as well as grandfather, Emmett Labes and family, grandmother, Phyllis Morris and family. She also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her early primary caregiver, grandmother, Jane Labes. Lindsay was "Jane's girl". She was also preceded in death by her grandfather, Boyd Guffy. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, 12th & Central, Horton, Kansas.
