Louis "Sonny" Hale Jr., 80, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the Maple Heights Nursing Center in Hiawatha, Kansas. He was born on August 9, 1933 in Mayetta, Kansas the son of Louis and Pearl Herrick Hale Sr. Louis served in the U.S. Navy and was a welder. On December 11, 1974 he married Mary Kennedy in Wellington, Texas. She preceded him in death on July 7, 2013. He is survived by a son, Alvin Langham of Enid, Oklahoma; three daughters, Sandra Langham and Linda Langham (Bruce Wanzer) both of Weatherford, Texas and Peggy (Tom) Herrington of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother, Alan Hale of Rossville, Kansas; two sisters, Joraine Tuckwin and Linda Hale both of Horton, Kansas; granddaughter, Angela Langham; great grandchildren, Sean Langham, Lane & Josie.
