Mark K. Daily, 50, of Horton, Kansas, passed away Monday, April 12, 2010 in Sabetha, Kansas. He was born on January 2, 1960 in Horton, Kansas the son of Jack and Virginia Tomlinson Daily. Mark worked in retail sales most of his life working for local grocery stores and Walmart. He had most recently been working for Gaskell Machine and Metal in Horton. He was an avid Hunter and Fisherman. On August 4, 1990 he married Karen Harris in Horton, Kansas. She survives of the home, Horton, Kansas. Additional survivors include his mother and step father, Virginia & Norman Simpson of Mission, Texas; son, Kylar & wife Arianne Daily of Sabetha, Kansas; step daughter, Kari & husband Mike Denton of Topeka, Kansas; two sisters, Debbie Emert of Sabetha, Kansas and Connie & husband Dave Simpson of Morrill, Kansas; four grandchildren, Dade and Paityn Daily, Carter and Evan Denton; brother in law, Ric Speers of Morrill, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Teri Speers. Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas. Inurnment will be at the St. Leo's Catholic Cemetery in Horton, Kansas. Memorials may be sent to the Mark Daily memorial fund to be designated later and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
