Mervin Glenn Sullivan, 74, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012 at the Maple Heights Nursing Center in Hiawatha, Kansas. He was born on March 31, 1938 in Topeka, Kansas the son of Glenn and Grace May Frances Howland Sullivan. Mervin was a truck driver prior to retiring. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Nancy Lewis on August 12, 1961 in Topeka, Kansas. They were later divorced. Survivors include two sons, Scott Sullivan of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Sean (Janci) Sullivan of Holton, Kansas; two daughters, Lori (Bobby) Lindsey and Cindy Boone both of Horton, Kansas; six brothers, Don (Pat) Sullivan and Ray (Pat) Sullivan both of Horton, Kansas, Reuben (Linda) Sullivan and Walter Sullivan both of Topeka, Kansas, Gary Sullivan and Michael Sullivan both of Horton, Kansas; five sisters, Jeannine (Tom) Bechtold of Leavenworth, Kansas, Kathy (Jerry) Boaz of Troy, Kansas, Glenda (Richard) Butner of Effingham, Kansas, Judy (Gene) Hetz of Atchison, Kansas and Nellie (Charlie) Brockhoff of Fairview, Kansas; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a baby brother, twin brothers, David and Daniel Sullivan, a sister, Vivian Sullivan, sister-in-law, Lavonne Sullivan and granddaughter, Rosanne Lindsey. Funeral services and Military Honors will be held at a later date. Burial will be at the Prairie Home Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas.
