Michael Mark Focht, 52, of Horton, Kansas, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the Horton Community Hospital. Michael was born on March 30, 1960 in Fargo, North Dakota the son of Frank and Minnie Berger Focht. Michael was a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Fishing Club of America. On May 18, 2001 he married Vickie Siard in Atchison, Kansas. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include his father, Frank Focht of Fredricktown, Ohio; three sons, Keith "Cody" Focht of the home, Josh Focht of Mt. Vernon, Ohio and Matthew Focht of Protection, Kansas; three daughters, Belinda Marie Focht and Ashlee (Dan) Hoffman both of Horton, Kansas and Jennifer Lynn Croft of Texas; mother-in-law, Lois Siard of Horton, Kansas; sister, Kay Flack of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; very special friend, Ray Meyers of Horton, Kansas; ten grandchildren, Alexis, Austin, Andrea, Ayleah, Corbin, Elizabeth, Iliana, Virgil Lee, Evelynne and one on the way and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas where the family will greet friends 1 hour prior to services. Burial will be at the Horton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Michael Focht memorial fund to be designated later and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
