Michael Wayne Olberding, 41, of Effingham, Kansas passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011 at his parents home. He was born on December 9, 1969 in Fort Knox, Kentucky the son of Joseph Olberding and Mary Linda Justice. Michael graduated from ACCHS in in 1988. After high school he served in the U.S. Air Force. Michael then became a stone mason and brick layer. He enjoyed hunting, motorcycles, riding 4 wheelers, playing pool and was an avid fisherman. Survivors include a son, Brandon Olberding of the home; mother, Linda Sinclair of Walnut Grove, Alabama; father and step mother, Joseph and Patricia Olberding of Effingham, Kansas; two sisters, Teresa and husband Shane Estes of Liberty, Missouri and Angela Norris of Walnut Grove, Alabama; brother, Jerimy Davis of Lawrence, Kansas; five nieces and four nephews. A prayer service will be recited at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, February 7, 2011 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas where the family will greet friends following. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday at the St. Leo's Catholic Church in Horton, Kansas with burial following at the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Corning, Kansas.
