Patricia Jane Johansen, 57, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012 at the St. Francis Health Center in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on August 7, 1954 in Springfield, Missouri the daughter of Johnnie and Ruth Taylor Lawrence. Patricia was a Certified Medical Aide and Certified Nurses Aide at the Tri-County Manor in Horton for over 25 years. Survivors include two sons, Patrick (Mary) Lawrence of Horton, Kansas and Cori Johansen of Atchison, Kansas; two daughters, Rebecca Johansen and Ronni Johansen both of Horton, Kansas; five brothers, Larry Lawrence of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Chuck Lawrence of Cleo Springs, Oklahoma, Andy Lawrence of Horton, Kansas, Michael Lawrence of Holden, Missouri and Joe Lawrence of Horton, Kansas; four sisters, Kathy Madere of Horton, Kansas, Peggy Lawrence of Horton, Kansas, Valerie Hayslett of Horton, Kansas and Jamie Fortune of Fairview, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, Tricia Lawrence, Kayla Lawrence, Michael Walker, Andrew Walker, Sarah Walker, Heather Johansen, Jared Johansen, Ruth Johansen, Constance Johansen, Haley Mick, Zoe Mick and Ryliegh Mick; three step grandchildren, Bianca Blockburger, Matthew Blockburger and Brittany Blockburger. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Carli Mick. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas where the family will greet friends on Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Burial will be at the Horton City Cemetery.
