Paul Pab-Ya-Kwi Frank "Sugar Bear" Cadue, 59, of Netawaka, Kansas passed away at his home on September 24, 2010. He was born on December 29, 1950 in Horton, Kansas the son of Frank and Alberta Williams Cadue. Paul served with the U.S. Army Military Police during Vietnam. He operated the Kickapoo Water department for many years earning the National Indian Water Plant operator of the year award. He most recently worked for the Kickapoo Police department at a dispatcher. He was a member of the Kickapoo American Legion Post #415, VFW of Lawrence, Kansas, Kennekuk Church, Kickapoo Tribal member and enjoyed bead working, leather working, watching stock car racing and watching his nieces and nephews in their sporting events. Survivors include two sisters, Delila DuBois and Nellie Cadue both of Horton, Kansas and a brother Wesley "Bucky" Cadue of Horton, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Levi Williams and a nephew Tom Conklin Jr. Kennekuk Church services will be at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, September 27, 2010 at the Kickapoo Community Building with a prayer service at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday morning and burial with Military Graveside Rites at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the Kennekuk Cemetery.
