Raymond Oscar Lindsey, 68, of Muscotah, Kansas, passed away on January 25, 2013 East of Muscotah, Kansas. He was born on September 12, 1944 in Wyandotte County, Kansas the son Raymond W. and Rose Althea Barnes Lindsey. Raymond worked in the construction field as a roofer for many years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Survivors include two daughters, Tina Pica of Meriden, Kansas and Melissa Razo of Effingham, Kansas; a son, Larry Lindsey of Atchison, Kansas; two brothers, Fred Lindsey of Olathe, Kansas and Jerry Lindsey of Tallahassee, Florida; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandchild. Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas.
