Ronnie William Morris, 71, of Horton, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Mission Village Living Center in Horton, Kansas. He was born on February 17, 1946 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Hobert and Wineford Stiles Morris. Ronnie raised American Quarter Horses for years. On October 8, 1999 he married Phyllis Allen at the Horton City Lake on Horseback. They later divorced but stayed side by side until his passing. He attended the Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ Church in Horton, Kansas. Survivors include his ex-wife, Phyllis Morris of Horton, Kansas; son, Brett William Morris of Topeka, Kansas; daughter, Holly Butler of Michigan; 8 step children; 3 adopted children; three sisters, Daisy Gurden, Dale Ann Cokyell and Dawn Chrissy Popour all of Michigan. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Horbart Sam William Morris. Memorial services will be at a later date.
