Terry Lee Scheid, 60 of Horton, Kansas passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. He was born on September 11, 1964, in Horton, Kansas. Terry worked in food service all his life working for Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut and Mazzio's. He was an avid collector of Star Wars memorabilia and had an obsession with collecting movies and books. Terry loved spending time with his family and friends. He was the founding member of the band Crimson Fury. On April 4, 2021, he married Lori Stafford in Lancaster, Kansas. Survivors include his wife, Lori Scheid of the home, daughter, Lyra (Clint) Pennington of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, sons, Treysten Scheid (Shara Koenen) of Atchison, Kansas and Tylor (Autumn) Layfield of Shawnee, Kansas, sister, Denise (Randy) Fassnacht of Horton, Kansas and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Scheid in 2009, an infant daughter, Elizabeth Scheid, grandchild, Atlas Layfield, two sisters, Janice Scheid and Dianna Brewer.
