Gregg Dishon

Gregg is President/Owner of Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary along with being a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Gregg graduated from Wathena High School in 1985, Highland Community College, Kansas University, and received his mortuary science degree from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas, Texas. He is a member of First United Methodist Church in Horton, Serves on the U.S.D. 430 South Brown County School Board and Foundation board, Brown County Fair Board where he serves as treasurer, member of the National Funeral Directors Association, Kansas Funeral Directors Association,Horton Chamber of Commerce, Past president of the Horton Lions club. Kim is an assistant, secretary and also works for the U.S.D. 430 School System. She graduated from Highland High School in 1985 and Highland Community College. Kim is a member of the First United Methodist Church and youth group leader in Horton, Kansas. She also coaches high school vollyball and serves on the Horton Library Board. Kim, and her husband Gregg, have three children, Kayla, Ashley and Trey. Trey graduated from Horton High School in 2015 and earned his Bachelor's in Social Sciences at Kansas State University in 2019. He received his Mortuary Science degree from Kansas City Kansas Community college in 2023.
